On April 15, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln of the United States was pronounced dead after he had been shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth (1829-1865) in Ford’s Theatre. Lovers and followers of American history will be very familiar with the events surrounding Lincoln’s presidency and his assassination. Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States.
Nearly a hundred years later, another president, the 35th, John F. Kennedy would suffer the same fate as Lincoln. While Lincoln and Kennedy lived nearly a century apart, there are some comparisons about the both of them that leave a lover of history and politics in total bewilderment. These facts first appeared after Kennedy’s assassination and it has been in the historical space since.
